Alumni Spotlight Carson Lundhagen
Carson Roger Lundhagen has been part of BlazeSports for six years—four as an athlete and two as a coach. He started with Blaze in adaptive track and field, competing in events such as ambulatory discus, shotput, javelin, long jump, and more. One of his proudest moments was at the 2017 Junior Nationals in Middleton, Wisconsin, when he won gold in all seven of his events!
Since 2023, Carson has been training with the U.S. Men’s Cerebral Palsy National Soccer Team as a goalkeeper—an impressive accomplishment that reflects his hard work, skill, and determination.
Carson attended the University of West Georgia, graduating in 2023. He credits BlazeSports with giving him the confidence to believe in himself and the ability to feel comfortable in his own skin—lessons that continue to guide him every day.
Transitioning from athlete to coach, Carson has become a dedicated and inspiring leader for our adaptive track and field program. He brings the same skill and encouragement, helping young athletes develop their abilities, confidence, and love for the sport. His guidance and positive influence have made a difference in the lives of our athletes.
Carson continues to make a lasting impact across the entire BlazeSports community. We are proud to call him part of the Blaze family—Go Carson!
