Alumni Spotlight Jude Hiley

Jude graduated from BlazeSports in 2023 after four years filled with dedication, growth, and athletic success. During his time with Blaze, he participated in rowing, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair tennis, excelling in each sport and proving himself as one of our most well-rounded and determined athletes.

Jude is currently studying Environmental Design at Auburn University, where he also competes in wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis. His time at BlazeSports played a significant role in preparing him for collegiate athletics by sharpening his skills and growing his passion for adaptive sports.

Jude’s athletic journey has taken him to the international stage, representing Team USA as a member of the Men’s U23 Wheelchair Basketball Team. His performance helped the team win gold at the U23 Americas Qualifier. This was a testament to his commitment, leadership, and elite talent.

At BlazeSports, Jude is more than just an accomplished athlete—he’s a role model. He is widely admired by coaches, teammates, and younger athletes for his humility, encouragement, and willingness to give back. One of his favorite parts about Blaze is the opportunity to return and support the current athletes, sharing his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of athletes to reach their full potential.
