Meet our Youth Spotlight Adela Alejo! Adela has been a vibrant part of BlazeSports for nearly a year, making her mark in track & field and wheelchair basketball. From the moment she joined, her determination and resilience have shined through in every practice and competition. She continues to push herself to improve, embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
One of Adela’s favorite memories at BlazeSports was when her track wheelchair flipped over during practice. Instead of letting the moment discourage her, she saw it as a valuable lesson in perseverance. She picked herself back up, kept going, and learned that setbacks are just stepping stones to success. Her ability to turn challenges into growth opportunities is truly inspiring.
Among her many achievements, Adela takes great pride in earning second place in track & field. Her hard work and dedication to the sport have already led to impressive results, and this is only the beginning. She continues to develop her skills, always striving to reach new heights.
Adela’s personality lights up every room she enters. She is brave, ambitious, and kind, always bringing encouragement and positivity to those around her. Whether she’s competing on the track or supporting her teammates in basketball, she embodies the spirit of perseverance and teamwork.
