Veteran Spotlight Lucy Truitt

Lucy L. Truitt, a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, has been a valued member of BlazeSports since 2023. She first learned about Blaze from a fellow athlete while competing at the Georgia Golden Olympics in Warner Robins, GA. That connection sparked her interest in adaptive sports and led her to join our community.

Lucy is currently involved in several of our programs, including Cycling, Golf Clinics, and Badminton, with plans to try Bowling in the near future. Since joining, she has experienced profound improvements in both her mental and physical well-being. Through Blaze, she has found strength, hope, and encouragement, along with opportunities for social connection and personal growth. Our programs have provided her with a sense of achievement tailored to her individual journey, making a lasting impact on her life.
