Our veteran spotlight for August in Linda Richardson. Linda says BlazeSports has been a great source of social integration and a safe space where she feels seen, heard, and affirmed- especially as a Veteran who is navigating through different post service challenges. She says the sports at Blaze are amazing and great for her mind and always a joy to meet up with fellow Veterans every week and sharpen their competitive edge through sports. She served in the United States Army for 24 years and she did a tour in Iraq OIF/OEF as a combat Military Police Officer.
