Veteran Spotlight: Bobby Broadnax

Our BlazeSports January Veteran Spotlight is Retired MGySgt, Bobby Broadnax. Bobby enlisted with the United States Marine Corp (USMC) in 1952, at the age of 21, and ended his career with an honorable discharge in 1989 with a total of 37 dedicated service years to his country. At the remarkable age of 92, he continues to drive and remains mentally and physically agile. His recollection of war times and American history stands out as a testament of his deep connection to his past, his country and the brotherhood. Bobby undertook numerous war missions as a true “Devil Dog” serving in the Korean War, Republic of Vietnam War, and many other Conflicts. He has a wife Elmira of 68 years, 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Bobby has been a BlazeSports member for a year enjoying water aerobics, swim classes and yoga where he’s made numerous friendships. We are so glad he joined us, and can’t wait to keep watching him thrive! 🔥
