Veteran Spotlight Bobby Broadnax

Veteran Spotlight Bobby Broadnax

Our BlazeSports January Veteran Spotlight shines on Retired MGySgt Bobby Broadnax. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1952 at age 21 and served his country for 37 years before earning an honorable discharge in 1989. Now 92, Bobby stays active, drives himself, and keeps his mind sharp. His deep connection to history and the Marine brotherhood stands out in his vivid recollections of war and American history.

A true “Devil Dog,” Bobby completed numerous war missions in the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and other conflicts. His courage and dedication embody the Marine spirit. Outside of his military career, he values family above all. He and his wife, Elmira, have shared 68 years together, raising two daughters, welcoming two grandchildren, and now enjoying two great-grandchildren.

Since joining BlazeSports a year ago, Bobby has embraced the community. He participates in water aerobics, swim classes, and yoga, forming strong friendships along the way. His energy and determination inspire everyone around him. We’re proud to have him in the BlazeSports family and look forward to seeing him continue to thrive! 🔥
