Veteran Spotlight: Anita Willingham

Our August Veteran Spotlight honors Anita Willingham, a dedicated U.S. Army Senior Supply Sergeant with the rank of SFC (Sergeant First Class).
BlazeSports has been an invaluable part of her life since she joined in 2017. She participates in BlazeSports rowing, swimming, cycling, pickleball, cornhole, and our Lady Ballers wheelchair basketball team. She is grateful to be part of an organization that genuinely cares about her health and well-being. She deeply appreciates our veteran program team, consistently reaching out to support her. BlazeSports has not only provided her with friendships but also a sense of community. She enjoys the opportunities to socialize and participate in activities with other veterans, along with access to programs for disabled veterans. Her journey with adaptive sports began with BlazeSports, and the camaraderie and encouragement she found have made a significant positive impact on her life.
Anita, thank you for sharing your story and for your service. BlazeSports is honored to have you as part of our community! 🇺🇸
