Meet our Youth Spotlight Najee Smothers. He has been with BlazeSports for five years and participates in wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, and track and field, excelling in all of them. Najee’s love for sports and his dedication have made him a standout athlete within the BlazeSports community.
Najee has big plans for the future. He intends to attend college and pursue a degree in kinesiology, driven by his passion to understand the human body and help others reach their physical potential. His determination and ambition are evident as he continues to push himself in all aspects of his life.
One of Najee’s favorite memories at BlazeSports was scoring an impressive 27 points during his second tournament while playing for the red team. This remarkable achievement demonstrated not only his basketball skills but also his relentless work ethic and commitment to improvement.
Najee is best described as a team player, outgoing, and unstoppable. His ability to connect with teammates and his determination to succeed inspire those around him. He consistently shows what it means to be a dedicated athlete and a positive role model.
