Meet Caleb Yun, our October Youth Spotlight! Though new to BlazeSports, Caleb has already made a strong impression in just six months. He participates in both wheelchair basketball and tennis, showcasing dedication and enthusiasm in every practice and game. His passion for sports and eagerness to learn make him a standout athlete in our community.
One of Caleb’s favorite memories with BlazeSports was attending Camp Phoenix this past summer. He embraced every opportunity to connect with fellow athletes, try new activities, and create unforgettable experiences. His love for adventure and ability to make lasting friendships truly define his spirit.
Beyond athletics, Caleb’s achievements extend into academics. His greatest accomplishment came in third grade, when he tested into PI+, a prestigious and challenging honors program at his magnet school. This experience helped him develop critical thinking skills, perseverance, and a strong work ethic, which he now applies both in the classroom and on the court.
If we had to describe Caleb in three words, they would be determined, independent, and deeply thoughtful. He approaches every challenge with focus and resilience, always striving to improve while supporting those around him. His family’s involvement has also made a positive impact on BlazeSports, and we are incredibly grateful to have them as part of our community.
