The BlazeSports Learn to Train Swim program is perfect for athletes who are already proficient swimmers but want to refine their techniques in a more competitive setting. Coaches work closely with each swimmer to adapt stroke techniques to their unique abilities, helping them improve and gain confidence in the water. This program prepares athletes for three major competitions during the year: the Palmetto Games on April 18th, the Peachtree Paragames on June 20th-21st, and the Move United Junior Nationals from July 14th-16th. These events offer an excellent opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills and gain experience.
To join, athletes must be able to swim independently and know the basic strokes. The Learn to Train program emphasizes improving technique, building endurance, and preparing for future swim meets. Each Saturday, athletes will have practice from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at The Westminster School Pool, located at 1424 W Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA. Practices will be held on the following dates: March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd*, and 29th, followed by April 19th, 26th, May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, June 7th, 16th, and 28th, and ending with July 12th.
This program offers athletes a chance to improve their swimming skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. It’s an ideal opportunity for those looking to compete at a higher level or simply enhance their overall swimming performance. Join us to take your swimming to the next level and prepare for upcoming competitions!
