Youth Swim
BlazeSports Swim programs are designed for youth ages 4 to 22 with physical disabilities who want to learn or train/compete. Our experienced coaches, along with BlazeSports Certified Water Safety Instructors, provide expert instruction. Together, they will support your child’s development in the pool, ensuring a safe and engaging experience.
The Learn to Swim program helps your child develop confidence in the water, pool safety skills, and the basics of freestyle and backstroke.
The Learn to Train/Compete program builds on these skills, helping your child increase endurance. In this advanced group, your child will continue to master freestyle and backstroke, while also learning breaststroke, butterfly, starts, and flip turns.
No experience is required to participate. You must be a BlazeSports Youth Member to register.
In addition to practice, participants interested in competition will have an opportunity to compete with the BlazeSports Swim Team in local, regional and national meets.
Stay tuned for more information on our upcoming program!
“BlazeSports has given me a second chance at swimming. I still swim with my high school team and I still compete on regular swim teams, but Blaze has given me an opportunity to be with others like me. BlazeSports is accepting. They are basically a second family. “
