Meet our December Youth Spotlight: Reagan McElroy! 🌟
At just 8 years old, Reagan McElroy is already making a name for herself at BlazeSports! Since joining in August, she has brought boundless energy and enthusiasm to every practice and game. As a dedicated member of the Jr. Hawks wheelchair basketball team, she has already earned the Hard Working Hawk of the Game award twice! Her determination and love for the game are evident every time she takes the court.
Beyond basketball, Reagan enjoys exploring other adaptive sports. She has participated in our Learn to Swim program, building confidence in the water. She’s also considering trying tennis next season, proving her fearless attitude when it comes to new challenges. Her most unforgettable moment so far? Winning the championship at her very first basketball tournament—the 2024 Clemson Classic! That victory was just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey in adaptive sports.
Reagan’s positive, friendly personality brightens every room she enters. Her spirit and enthusiasm create a welcoming atmosphere that inspires her teammates and coaches alike. She embodies the true meaning of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
