For more than six years, the BlazeSports Institute of Adaptive Sports and Recreation has partnered with colleges and universities across the U.S. to integrate the CARSS curriculum directly into academic programs. Partnerships are customized to meet program and student needs, ensuring relevant, up-to-date instruction in the adaptive sports field.
BlazeSports University connects colleges and universities with industry-recognized education in adaptive sports and recreation. Through partnerships with the BlazeSports Institute for Adaptive Sports and Recreation, students gain access to the CARSS (formerly Certified Disability Sports Specialist) curriculum and credential, preparing them for careers in adaptive sports and the broader sports industry.

Through BlazeSports University, students earn a nationally recognized credential that enhances marketability and employability in adaptive sports and beyond.
Costs

CARSS Level I or Level II Curriculum:
$500 per semester or $750 for two semesters
- CARSS Certification Exam:
$50 per student (reduced university partner rate)

Individual Student Option:
$75 for currently enrolled students whose institution does not offer CARSS
