Jordan Paralympic Sport Development Program

The BlazeSports International Jordan Paralympic Sport Development Project, in collaboration with key partners, aimed to provide children and youths with disabilities in Jordan access to quality sport and recreation. This initiative not only increased access but also helped train local service providers, ensuring a lasting legacy of disability sports in the country.

The initiative strengthened the expertise of individuals in various fields, such as coaches, educators, sport managers, referees, classifiers, and students in sport and recreation programming. Those who attended the courses had the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practical settings, further enhancing the impact of their training. Through this, BlazeSports International helped foster a sustainable, inclusive sports environment in Jordan for the future.

Some of our project highlights include:

  • Disability sport workshops that provide attendees information on the specific considerations and practical solutions that are relevant when working with those with disabilities.
  • The provision of sport-specific Train the Trainer courses which provide based experts with additional knowledge to disseminate to those working at a grassroots level.
  •  Increased awareness and opportunity for those with disabilities to participate in sport through the organization of festivals and clinics.
