Blaze Day in the Community

A Blaze Day is a unique opportunity for people of all abilities to experience a range of Paralympic sports, many for the first time. These events serve as an important introduction to anyone that does not know about adaptive sports and their power to change lives. It is a great opportunity for all to learn that everyone can participate in sports with a few adaptations. Participants are introduced to wheelchair basketball, lacrosse, tennis, archery, climbing, and other adaptive sports.

BlazeSports and Georgia Southern University will host a Blaze Day community event in Savannah, Georgia. You will have the opportunity to discover a variety of adapted sports such as wheelchair basketball, lacrosse, tennis, archery, climbing, and much more.
