DESCRIPTION:Wheelchair Basketball 2026-2027\n\n\n\n\n\nThe BlazeSports Wheelchair Basketball program offers both competitive and recreational experiences for athletes 6 – 22 years old who have a physical disability. Our program is sanctioned under the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) Junior Division and have teams in both Prep (U14) and Varsity divisions. \nPractice \nPractice Time: Saturdays \n8:00am – 11:30am – Varsity \n11:30am – 1:30pm – Prep \nTODAY’S LOCATION: All Saints Catholic Church\, 2443 Mount Vernon Rd Atlanta\, GA 30338\nCompetition: In a typical season\, the BlazeSports Jr. Hawks travels within and outside of the South Eastern Conference (SEC). The tournaments range from 4-6 a season depending on the team. \nAthlete eligibility: Ages 6 – 18* up to 22 if enrolled in high school. Primary diagnosis is characterized as a physical disability that impacts the lower body’s motor output/control. These diagnoses include but are not limited to Spinal Cord Injury\, Cerebral Palsy\, Spina Bifida\, Amputation\, Limb Difference\, Traumatic Brain Injury\, etc. \nAthletes of all skill levels are welcome. \nEquipment: The BlazeSports Equipment Loan Program is available for all Youth Members. If your athlete needs a sports chair\, BlazeSports staff & coaches will fit your athlete into the most suitable chair we have available. The loan program has no additional cost to the youth member although credit card information is required for any damages that may occur.
