SUMMARY:Rowing Saturdays
DESCRIPTION:Rowing Saturdays\nBlazeSports America is excited to continue our partnership with the Atlanta Rowing Club to offer veterans with disabilities the chance to experience adaptive rowing on Saturdays. This program is open to all experience levels\, and the Winter season sessions will be held on the water\, weather permitting.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipants will learn from experts about the sport of adaptive rowing\, including classifications\, safety practices\, and the use of adaptive equipment. They will also gain an understanding of the importance of proper rowing technique\, stroke rhythm\, and how to navigate various water conditions safely. After gaining valuable knowledge\, veterans will have the chance to apply their newfound skills on the Chattahoochee River. Experienced guides will be present to offer support and ensure that everyone feels confident and secure while on the water. \nWhether you’re new to rowing or have some experience\, this program provides a welcoming and encouraging environment for all participants. It’s an excellent opportunity to build both physical and mental strength\, all while connecting with others who share similar experiences. Veterans will not only learn a new sport but also develop resilience\, teamwork\, and confidence in their abilities. Adaptive rowing is an empowering activity that promotes wellness\, teamwork\, and personal growth. By the end of the session\, participants will have the thrill of navigating the river and a strong sense of accomplishment as they reach new milestones in their adaptive sports journey. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRowing Saturdays Program Info:\nWhen: Saturdays \n9:00 AM – 10:30 AM \nWhere: Atlanta Rowing Club\n500 Azalea Dr\nRoswell\, GA 30075
