Swimming

Have a competitive side and swim like a fish? Join the BlazeSports Swim Team and receive expert instruction from Coach Fred Lamback in the four competitive strokes, flip turns, building your endurance, and much more! In addition to year-round monthly practice, participants will have an opportunity to compete in local, regional and national swim meets against both non-disabled athletes and athletes with a physical disability.

Who: Youth, ages 6-18, who have a physical disability including: spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputation, muscular dystrophy, visual impairments and blindness.

Where: Carl E. Sanders Family YMCA/ Buckhead, 1160 Moores Mill Road, Atlanta, GA 30327

When: Saturdays, 1:30pm - 3:30pm (March 20, Aprril 17, May 15, June 19, July 17, Aug 21, Sept 18, Oct 16, Nov20, Dec 18)

Cost: $20 f or BlazeSports Member; $40 for Non-Blaze Member
