2009 Spring Run/Roll Tennis Challenge - Peachtree City, Georgia

This was the eighth year running for this inclusive one up, one down tournament. In one up, one down (or run/roll) tennis, a player in a wheelchair (roll) pairs up with an ambulatory player (run) and together they compete as a doubles team against another run/roll pair. Players play according to USTA rules and only the player in the wheelchair is allowed two bounces.
The number of players and spectators in this event has grown with each passing year, and 2009 is expected to see another record turnout. This year 15 pairs from all across Georgia, representing varying divisions from novice to elite, are set to compete. Each team played a match against a team of comparable ability resulting highly competitive matches and an enjoyable experience for all.
