BlazeSports America is the coordinating body in the United States for the sport of boccia and Football (soccer) 7aside and the nation's representative for Cerebral Palsy International Sport and Recreation Association.

Boccia is a target sport (similar to Italian Lawn Bowling) played by individuals and teams and can be

enjoyed at a recreational or competitive level. It is one of the fastest growing International Paralympic Sports. The goal is to land six of your balls closer to the target ball than the opponents’ balls. The sport requires a high degree of strategy, concentration and tactical awareness. Athletes with very limited to

no upper body mobility, who would be unable to throw the boccia ball, utilize a ramp or chute and may

receive assistance from a coach.
